FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Legends, Legends In the Making
on GAC's "Country Music Across America"

(NASHVILLE, TENN) November 2, 2006...They're so famous, just the mention of their monikers - the Possum, the Gambler and the Rhinestone Cowboy - and you know we're talking about George Jones, Kenny Rogers and Glen Campbell. All three are featured on this week's episode of "Country Music Across America," Thursday, November 2, 9:00 pm (ET), on GAC.

Host Storme Warren's heart to heart with Jones focused not only on the making of his new release with longtime pal and fellow legend, Merle Haggard, but also about regret, loss and his thoughts on the future of country music. The first of three parts airs on this week's episode.

Glen Campbell reacts to the news that friend and fellow guitar virtuoso Keith Urban has entered rehab. "He's doing it the right way," he tells Warren.

Kenny Rogers knows when to hold 'em and knows what it takes to get a radio hit. The venerable star takes a look back at his last ten years and talks about his brand new music video. "I'm like a boomerang," he jokes. "I just keep coming back.

Paramount Pictures is making a film about the life and career of legendary trailblazer Charley Pride and the Hall of Famer talks with Warren about his hopes for the film.

With the CMA Awards on the horizon, there are parties a plenty. Never one to miss a good party, Warren makes the rounds, taking viewers to the ASCAP awards dinner, Sugarland's private carnival to celebrate the release of "Enjoy The Ride" and The Wreckers' celebration for their debut No. 1 hit single, "Leave The Pieces."

"Country Music Across America" on GAC: the only entertainment news show on television dedicated solely to covering the world of country music.
