FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The Good, Bad and Ugly Sides of Marriage
Along With Some Not So Serious Horseplay
on GAC's "Country Music Across America"

(NASHVILLE, TENN) Oct. 17, 2006..."Country Music Across America's" Storme Warren heads west for this week's edition of the show which airs Thursday, October 19, 9:00 pm (ET) on GAC.

City slicker Warren saddles up and sets down shop at Ventura Farms, a horse ranch in southern California that served as the set for Tim McGraw's new film, "Flicka."

McGraw stops by the familiar location to talk about the 3 months he spent there while filming his new family friendly film. Their conversation also covers what's going on with his day job as a country music superstar as well as the recent celebration of his 10-year marriage to Faith Hill. "Ten years of marriage in Hollywood is like gold," McGraw notes. "I think they make a statue for you."

On the other side of the wedded bliss coin is the shocking news of Sara Evans' impending divorce from Craig Shelske, her husband of 13 years. Saddened yet supportive fans speak up about their favorite singer and her decision to drop out of "Dancing With The Stars."

Warren did manage to leave the ranch long enough to mosey into town and join legions of country music fans who'd gathered to mourn the loss of KZLA radio, that area's country station for more than 26 years. The event was the final listener appreciation concert for the now-defunct station and featured performances by Phil Vassar, Gretchen Wilson, SHeDAISY and Jamie O'Neal.

Heading north a bit to Hollywood, Warren caught an outdoor concert by Jerry Lee Lewis smack dab in the middle of Hollywood Boulevard. The event was celebrating the release of the 71-year-old legend's latest, Last Man Standing.

And legend-in-the-making Josh Turner is one happy man. Within the span of a week the singer welcomed his first child, son Hampton Otis, and was honored at a party celebrating a newly certified platinum album as well as the number one single, "Would You Go With Me." The emotional new dad talked with Warren about what was a very good week indeed.

Warren made the transition from horses to motorcycles to attend Dierks Bentley's first annual Music and Miles for Kids motorcycle ride in Nashville. The event which benefited the Vanderbilt Children's Hospital drew more than 2000 riders including Montgomery Gentry, Eric Church and Ray Scott. The largest charity bike ride in the history of the city raised over $100,000 for the hospital.

"Country Music Across America" on GAC: the only entertainment news show on television dedicated solely to covering the world of country music.
