"Country Music Across America"
(NASHVILLE, TENN) In between all of the parties, "Country Music Across America" host Storme Warren has somehow managed to deliver loads of interviews with today's top country stars on this week's episode of "Country Music Across America," Thursday, October 5, 8:00 pm (ET), on Great American Country.
Warren did have help, though, in the form of guest co-host Dierks Bentley. The two met up at rehearsals for Bentley's upcoming headliner tour.
Don't know if they really are cheaper by the dozen, but the men of Rascal Flatts were recently honored for selling 12 million records.
Warren and crew attended the group's Nashville concert, an event that netted over $800,000 for Vanderbilt's Children's Hospital. Fans of the group can enter to win a special Storme handicraft signed by the members of Rascal Flatts. Log on to www.countrymusicacrossamerica.com to win...after all, Christmas is only 83 days away.
Warren also caught up with Kenny Chesney at a special celebration marking total career sales of more than 25 million albums. The island-themed celebration attracted an industry who's who, many of whom were handed heavy metal hardware from Chesney.
Country music good guy Vince Gill was surrounded by hardware of a different kind as he helped construct a playground in New Orleans. The affable star told Warren that he's "just a small piece of the puzzle" as he joined those building the playground which was part of his ACM Humanitarian Award prize.
Also this week...Barbara Mandrell talks about the new tribute LP released in her honor and Phil Vassar does his part for the FarmAid cause.
"Country Music Across America" on GAC: the only entertainment news show on television dedicated solely to covering the world of country music.
