FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Can't Stand the Heat? Stay Inside and Tune In
To This Week's
"Country Music Across America"

(Nashville, Tenn.) August 9, 2007... It's 100 degrees in the shade but that hasn't slowed down "Country Music Across America" host Storme Warren's quest to cover all of Music City's news makers on this week's episode (Thursday, August 9, 9:00 PM on GAC). Knowing that hydration is the key in this kind of heat, Warren made a bee line to Arrington Vineyards, the new winery co-owned by Brooks & Dunn's Kix Brooks. Brooks gives a tour of the middle Tennessee facility and even got Warren to assist in the bottling process. "I've never been that good at anything but I've got a lot of confidence," Brooks says about his newest venture.

Happy campers Dierks Bentley and Darryl Worley made some campers happy at this year's Williams Syndrome Camp at Vanderbilt's Kennedy Center. Those with the rare genetic condition often have exceptional musical skills and the week-long camp featured songwriting workshops, a recording session with Bentley and Worley and an appearance on The Grand Ole Opry.

Rising newcomer Lori McKenna's life is anything but unglamorous at the moment. She is on Tim & Faith's current Soul2Soul Tour and is preparing to release Unglamorous later this month. The Massachusetts-based mother of five first came to our attention through songs of hers that appeared on Hill's Fireflies LP and she sits down with Warren to talk about her amazing life.

Little Big Town is learning all about the wonders of technology - specifically outlets like YouTube - as it pertains to their new music. The group has been performing a few of their new tunes in concert and were surprised to find one of those tracks, "I'm With The Band," on the popular video clip site. "You have to embrace that," Karen Fairchild says of modern technology. When the lyrics and actual chord progressions showed up online as well, Jimi Westbrook was impressed. "Nice job!" he said of one fan's ability to pull the chords off of the You Tube clip.

The "CMAA" crew stops by Big & Rich's recent #1 celebration for "Lost In This Moment" as well as the book release party for Denise Jackson's It's All About Him at Nashville's Schermerhorn Symphony Center. And Reba chats with Warren about her new duets project, Reba Duets, which hits streets later this month.

"Country Music Across America" on GAC: the only entertainment news show on television dedicated solely to covering the world of country music.
