FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Live From Jamaica, Mon:
It's "Country Music Across America"

(Nashville, Tenn.) May 2, 2007...This week's episode of GAC's "Country Music Across America" (Thursday, May 3, 9:00 pm ET) might be better titled "Country Music Across the Seas" as host Storme Warren and crew come to us from a resort in Jamaica.

Never one to pass up an assignment involving sunshine, sandy beaches and drinks with umbrellas, Warren took off for the Sandals Whitehouse European Village and Spa resort to join up and coming artists Danielle Peck, Jimmy Wayne and Dusty Drake who were enjoying a bit of R & R as part of a radio promotion that flew nine couples to Jamaica to mingle with the artists. "When I first started in this business, I didn't think about blue drinks and Jamaica," Drake said about what had to be one of the more enjoyable work-related "chores" he's endured.

While slathering on the SPF, Warren still made certain that all of the Music City celebrations of the week were covered. Big Kenny celebrates his first No. 1 hit, "The Last Dollar (Fly Away,)" for Tim McGraw and Josh Turner collects some heavy metal for the recent double platinum certification of his Your Man LP.

Blake Shelton talks about the help he got from legends George Jones and John Anderson on his new release, Pure B.S. and Craig Morgan offers a behind the scenes look at the set of his new music video, "Tough."

NFL star - and everyone's favorite former Tennessee Titan - Kevin Carter was back in Nashville for his annual Waiting For Wishes fundraiser that benefits the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Celebrity waiters including Rascal Flatts' Jay DeMarcus served up dinner at The Palm restaurant. "All country singers want to be athletes and all athletes want to be singers," DeMarcus noted. "Well most of them anyway." Somehow "CMAA" host Warren found the time to leave his beach chair in Jamaica to reprise his role as bartender at the annual fundraiser.

"Country Music Across America" on GAC: the only entertainment news show on television dedicated solely to covering the world of country music.
